The Baldoria Wild Plum Vermouth perfectly balances the tartness of the plum’s flesh and the warm almond taste of the kernel. A collaboration between the Alpine Maritime Society and Baldoria, the result is a delicious smooth, lush, and elegant vermouth that paves the way for a whole new class of cocktails and is delightful on its own in a tumbler with ice. The Baldoria Vermouth Wild Plum is the collaborative upshot between Ernest and the Alpine Maritime Society, the focus being the revival of the Alpine Wild Plum, a species native to Italy that grows naturally in the Maritime Alps nature reserve.
Semi-Dry White Vermouth on a Chardonnay wine base. Separate macerations of botanicals in a hydro-alcoholic solution (grain-neutral spirit and water) and wine. Natural sugars are diluted in wine solution, followed by blending of the two macerations. Aging in steel tanks followed by light filtration and bottling. Some natural sedimentation is common across varieties. No Flavors, no extracts, no colorants, no clarifying agents, no preservatives.
Wormwood (artemisia vallesiaca; artemisia absinthium); Wild Plum, Clary sage, Rosemary, Fennel, Orange peel.
Unique and multifaceted, the varietal has a rich body of soft tartness blended with innate warm almond notes from the kernel. The fruit’s aroma is delicate, the blossoms burst into bloom in early spring, releasing a sweet fragrance that fills the air with a subtle floral perfume.
